The clauses the public view does not carry
The clause map is public: the table of contents lists clauses 1 to 8.4, with titles. What is withheld is the body text from clause 4 onward, and the text of 3.2 and later terms. The document states that only informative sections are publicly available.
The requirement in plain English
The clause map is public: the table of contents lists clauses 1 to 8.4, with titles. What is withheld is the body text from clause 4 onward, and the text of 3.2 and later terms. The document states that only informative sections are publicly available.
What the public record says
The public view lists Foreword, Introduction, clauses 1 to 8 with their subclauses, and the Bibliography. It then withholds the body text and points the reader to the purchase link.

Why it matters to you
A revision checker is only honest if it marks the edge of what it can see. The titles are public and they are useful: they set the life cycle, the property families, the measure families and the dataset decisions. The sentences under those titles are not public. We do not know the requirements, the definitions of 3.2 onward, the sample sizes or the thresholds, and we will not invent them. The watch exists for this gap: when the text publishes, the first email tells you the stage changed, and the record is re-read against the published text before any page is rewritten.
Evidence a reviewer asks for
- A dated note in the evidence file recording that the text was not public at the date of preparation.
- A named owner and a re-read date for the day the text publishes.
- The list of questions you will put to the text when it lands, kept with the evidence file.
- A change watch subscription or an equivalent diary entry.
Checks to run this month
- Does any internal paper describe the FDIS clauses as if they were known?
- Who will read the published text first, and by when?
- Which decisions are waiting on the withheld clauses?
Dates
FDIS registered 2026-08-21. Publication estimated 2027-02-16, our estimate.

What this page does not state
The body text of clauses 4 to 8.4, the text of terms 3.2 onward, and any requirement, sample size or threshold are not public. The titles are public in the DIS view; the FDIS may change a title or add a clause, and this page will be re-read on publication.
